The Test and Qualification standard for Rugged tablet Salt spray test Reliability test.

The Rugged tablet from EVT to MP stage, according to the QC system《Specifications of Product》and《MID Reliability Test Specification》request, salt spray test for multiple reliability experiments is necessary to ensure the reliability of the rugged tablet.

Note:

The basic functions, including the appearance、structure of the whole machine, are normal before the test.

1. Salt spray test

• Test standard

1. Take distilled water and sodium chloride with a 5% proportion of salt water, from the Salt spray machine saltwater inlet into the testing machine.
2. the test chamber of the testing machine will be injected with the appropriate amount of mineral water, from the entrance of the testing machine into the distilled water to the testing machine.
3. Seal the box cover with water, and take the mist as the criterion when the testing machine works.
4. Open the power switch of the testing machine, set the temperature of the laboratory at 35℃, and set the running time for 12 hours.
5. Adjust the intake pressure in the range of 2–4kg /CM2, adjust the spray pressure in the range of 0.7–1.0kg /CM2.
6. Put the test sample on the bracket of the test chamber, and it is appropriate that the amount of fog collected in the measuring cylinder is 3ml in 1 hour.
7. When the actual temperature of the laboratory and the package and device reaches the set temperature, turn on the continuous switch until the whole test operation is completed.

• Qualification standard:

1. After the test is completed, take out the sample and wash it with clean water. After placing it at room temperature for 2 hours, check the appearance. If there is no rust, it is qualified.
